Katharina Hormel paints minimalistic every day scenes of life. The people she portrays are out and about going about their daily life, enjoying a walk in the park, cycling, playing football etc.

The silver changes depending on the light and 

makes for a warm contrast to the black, white and grey. Elegant in their color scheme Hormel's paintings are beautifully contemporary and unobtrusive, yet full of life, happiness and details.
